We had an absolutely amazing experience with this travel agency and are incredibly grateful for the unforgettable memories from our trip to Kenya. We found them through KATO (Kenyan Association of Travel Organizers), and after reviewing more than 10 offers, we chose them for their excellent value for money. From the very beginning, the planning process was smooth and flexible. Thanks to the outstanding customer service from Dorah via WhatsApp, we were able to customize every detail to our liking. She was highly professional, knowledgeable, and patient, providing us with all the options so we could make the best choices for our family. The booking process was also seamless—we paid a 30% deposit online and excitedly started counting down the days to our adventure. Upon arrival in Nairobi, everything was perfectly arranged. We were picked up on time from our hotel, completed the remaining payment with their representative, and from that moment on, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our driver and guide, Dan, took exceptional care of us throughout the entire journey. He is not only a skilled and experienced driver but also incredibly knowledgeable about Kenyan history and wildlife. His dedication to ensuring we saw as many animals as possible was truly impressive—he knew the best spots, had a great network of connections, and always had insightful stories to share. He was always punctual, and we quickly learned that his advice on timings was worth following! As a family of three traveling with a five-year-old, safety and flexibility were priorities for us. The agency ensured that everything was well thought out, and the hotels they selected had a great variety of kid-friendly meal options. During our six-day safari, we explored Masai Mara (2 days), Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli. Every part of the trip was well-organized and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this agency to anyone looking for a stress-free, well-planned, and truly memorable safari experience in Kenya.

Planning a safari trip for a beginner could be daunting, you will be offered various itineraries and quotations pretty much from different local tour operators and there was one offer that at first I was tempted to consider and that was to go off the beaten track, meaning away from major known Kenya's safari destinations. But then again, I was reminded that we were all first timers so why would we not go for the most visited and core safari spots then? So off we went for the magical and a lifetime safari excursions at Masai Mara, Lake Nakuro and Amboseli with our Safari guide/game driver and the kindest "BEN" from BEYOND THE PLAINS tour operator. I have to specially commend Ben's drive to offer us the most memorable Safari that we could ever ask for. We we were able to see the Big 5 within 3 days and seeing all the wildlife in their natural habitat freely moving, proudly claiming and owning their place was surreal, satisfying and liberating.

Organised a safari for my parents through Beyond the Plains. Dorah was extremely professional and helpful in assisting with the planning and recommending the itinerary. The tour was really well organized ans professional. My parents had an amazing time. Will definitely recommend and use the same organization for any future safari!

I spent many weeks working through the myriad number of details and options available for our 8-day safari in Kenya, with multiple tour operators...and the great people at Beyond the Plains clearly came out on top. However, booking a great safari and then delivering on that promise are two separate things - but Beyond the Plains and our **incredible** guide Kevin Mwangi did just that!! We truly had the adventure of a lifetime and, when Kevin had to depart suddenly on the second-to-last day (due to a sudden illness in his family), Beyond the Plains made sure a great guide was with us the next day. And John finished the itinerary admirably! For absolutely fantastic service, attention to detail and the ability to overcome a challenging situation like they did, the people at Beyond the Plains deservedly receive 5-stars from our entire family...and Kevin gets 6!
